At first, I was saying that this was the best $550 I had spent in a long time. I wanted a set of tools for a vacation property. I don’t have a lot of space so a compact set seemed like the right thing to do. I used it sparingly but was able to accomplish most of the tasks I needed to do on February 24-25, 2025. I came back to the vacation property earlier this week, March 22. I used the drill as a power screw driver a couple of times, along with some of the other hand tools. I was starting to drill a hole and the chuck quit turning. It is funny how the drill knew that it was one day after the Amazon “return by date”. The supplier offered a partial refund ~40%. The trouble with that is I would have to get a different drill. At this point, I would just like them to take the whole mess back. I can bring tools along next time I come here. Very frustrating.
Updated. Supplier customer service offer accepted. I ordered a replacement drill with the funds from the credit. I’m still quite happy with the utility and content of the tool kit.
